  The Illinois Safety Council's mission is still the same today as when it was founded in 1925, " . . . to promote safety at the workplace and in the home by eliminating injuries and fatalities." To do this, one must understand what types of accidents occur nationally at work, at home and on the highways. This PowerPoint Presentation was developed for the ISC by Alan Hoskin and Kevin Fearn of the National Safety Council.
